Pendleton High School Branded Gym Renovation

The clock is always the biggest opponent in any school facility upgrade. When Anderson School District 4 needed a complete athletic overhaul for Pendleton High School, the deadline was non-negotiable. Missing the mark meant disrupting the athletic season and the student body.

With a massive scope of work and a highly compressed timeline, the project required careful coordination, from wood flooring to custom floor and bleacher graphics, to ensure the space was ready for athletes on day one.

DESIGN + PLANNING

A project of this scale requires careful coordination before anyone sets foot on the job site. We worked closely with Thompson Turner School to map out the full facility upgrade from the start. The scope was extensive—new wood flooring, advanced scoreboards, telescopic bleachers, and athletic equipment, along with custom court graphics and bleacher branding. Balancing these custom elements with a fixed deadline meant our logistics had to be thoughtfully aligned from the initial blueprints through installation.

CONSTRUCTION + INSTALLATION

The installation phase is often where tight schedules start to slip. With a compressed timeline, the approach needed to be intentional from day one. To keep things moving, additional crews were deployed to the site, working in coordinated shifts to install Connor Flooring, Porter Athletic equipment, and Interkal telescopic seating.

Managing multiple complex installations at once required strong on-site coordination. By scaling the workforce and aligning schedules, the project continued to move forward efficiently while maintaining the level of precision required for both the court and bleacher systems.

IMPACT + RESULTS

The finished Pendleton High School facility brings together both form and function. Custom court graphics give the space a distinct identity, while telescopic bleachers add flexibility for a variety of uses. When not in use, the bleachers retract to preserve their condition and open up the gym floor for other activities.
