Turnkey Athletic Gym Solutions for Washington County’s New K-12 Public School

Scott Equipment & Surfacing was proud to partner with Metcon Construction and SFL+A Architects to help bring a brand-new K-12 school to life for Washington County Public Schools in Plymouth, NC. This modern facility will significantly upgrade the district, offering students, staff, and their community an enhanced learning and athletic experience in a previously underserved region.

DESIGN + PLANNING

Our role involved supplying and installing lockers, bleachers, and athletic flooring in the primary and auxiliary gyms. To give these spaces a unique identity, we incorporated custom graphics painted on the gym floors, ensuring the school’s brand and spirit would shine through.

Because we specialize in total facility solutions, we served as the single point of contact—streamlining communication for everyone involved. This unified approach helped avoid major planning challenges, and the project ran smoothly from start to finish, underscoring how well-coordinated efforts can keep things on track.

CONSTRUCTION + INSTALLATION

Once the new building was ready for our scope of work in the fall of 2024, we were able to install the following high-quality materials and products:
